After working as a member of the counter staff of at least a year, some of HTC's employees are offered a piercing apprenticeship. This apprenticeship process lasts a minimum of 2 years, and focuses on making sure that the apprentice becomes the highest caliber piercer possible. As a customer of HTC, you can help our apprentices learn by allowing them to observe your piercing procedure, or even by allowing them to perform your piercing (for a discounted fee of corse). As with the rest of our staff, our apprentices are required to be members of the Association of Professional Piercers and to maintain current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen Controll through the American Red Cross.
